1970-1980

During the period of the 1970's and 1980's the church at Cave Hill continued to work on the conservation of its members.  Although the programmes were church programmes, specific members of the church took it upon themselves to ensure that the church members were consolidated within the church.  An old method of conservation was used to bring new life to the church.  This was seen in a vibrant M.V.  Society.  A new concept which was used was that of the GAY (Gifted, Ambitious and Young) club.  Finally there was the development of an instrumental music group which also helped to enhance the music of the church and also to conserve members.

In the1970's the name of Anderson "Andy" Rock was synonymous with the M.V.  Society and Pathfindering.  Here was a man who was dedicated and committed to the work of the church and more specifically the youth.
